Critical Special Education Teacher job strting in August 2024!
Details
• 40-hours per week
• Elementary school (K-5)
• 10-month contract (180 days)
• Starts: August 2024
• Ends: May or June 2025
• Prepare progress notes, I.E.P. notes/goals, and attend meetings.
• Join the special education departement.
• Must be certified to teacher special needs students (Grades K-5th)
• Experience with North Carolina Individualized Evaluation Plans
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, if needed
• Able to communicate and educate parents, families, and school Administrators
• Provide structured lesson plans to guide students toward IEP goals.
• Teach children with learning disabilities.
Education and Licensure Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree or holds a state endorsement in special education
• Certified to teacher Special Education thru North Carolina Public Instruction (NCDPI)
• Able to primary level students in Kindergarten to 5th Graders.
• All acceptable Categories for Eligibility:
-General Curriculum; Intellectual Disability (ID); Developmental Delay (DD); Specific Learning Disability (SLD); Cross Categorical (CC); Multi-Categorical (MU);
