This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while supporting K-12 students in a school district near Silt, CO.
Position Overview…
As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students who have mild to moderate disabilities. You will provide both direct and indirect therapy services, helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Provide direct and indirect therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure student success.
Utilize virtual platforms to deliver engaging and effective instruction.
Schedule
Full-time: 30-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Part-time flexibility is available.
Follow the school district’s academic calendar (August to May 2025).
Qualifications
Active Colorado Special Education License.
Endorsement in Special Education Generalist or Special Education Specialist.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience with remote instruction is a plus, but not required.
