Remote Special Education Teacher

Your Role:
• Work closely with students, families, and other educators to develop customized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Plan and deliver creative online lessons using a mix of innovative teaching strategies and the latest technology.
• Offer personalized academic and social-emotional support to help students overcome challenges and meet their learning goals.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress and celebrating their achievements.
• Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, and fellow educators to create a positive, inclusive virtual classroom environment.

Who You Are:
• You hold a valid Special Education teaching license in your state of residence and the state where you’ll be teaching.
• You have a strong background in working with students with various learning disabilities and challenges.
• You understand special education laws, policies, and effective teaching strategies.
• You are confident using digital tools and online platforms to deliver engaging virtual instruction.
• You are skilled at building relationships and fostering open communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Technology Screening: We’ll conduct a technical evaluation to ensure your computer, internet connection, and other equipment are up to the standards needed for remote teaching.
