A company is looking for a Special Education Teacher for a virtual academy.
Key Responsibilities…
• Conduct Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and ensure appropriate placement and development of individual education plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and services to special needs learners
• Implement transition services for special education students and serve as a resource for campus staff
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education
• Knowledge of federal and state special education law and ARD Committee process
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
