Essential Duties
Provides content-related and appropriate instruction based on Fulton Countys curriculum
Provides classroom environment which promotes active learning in subject area
Communicates responsibly with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership
Accounts for student attendance and punctuality
Compiles, maintains, and submits required records
Follows all county, state, and federal policies and procedures
Follows professional ethics in all work-related activities
Avoids behaviors which detract from staff morale
Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator
Required Education
Bachelors Degree from a regionally accredited university
Certification/Licensure
GaPSC Clearance Certificate required
Teaching Certification preferred
Experience Qualifications
None required; Experience working with children preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proven communication and instructional strategies
Classroom management skills
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
Excellent organizational skills

Daily Rate
Actual salary placement will be based on Fulton County Board of Education “PAY RATES FOR SUBSTITUTE EMPLOYEES”
Substitute Teacher – $175/Day
Long-Term Substitute Teacher – $190/Day
Substitute Paraprofessional/Clinic Assistant- $100/Day
