Substitute Teacher
Experience the impact of education and faith as you step into the role of substitute teacher. You’ll oversee classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher, fostering a positive learning environment while implementing provided lesson plans.
Responsibilities
Execute lesson plans and instructions left by the regular teacher, or collaborate with school leadership if plans are not provided.
Maintain an organized and respectful classroom atmosphere, adhering to school policies and procedures.
Keep accurate records of attendance, incidents, and relevant observations.
Uphold safety protocols to ensure a secure learning environment for students.
Engage with a diverse student body across various grade levels.
Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, administrators, and colleagues both verbally and in writing.
Support the school’s mission through active participation and commitment.
Experience
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience with remote learning platforms is advantageous.
Possession of a valid state teaching license (out-of-state licenses accepted).
1 to 3 years of teaching experience is desirable.
