Position Overview…
As an On-Site Teacher, you’ll inspire and educate young individuals within our Florida Scholars Academy in partnership with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Deliver engaging lessons, offer one-on-one support, and create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans meeting educational goals.
Provide individualized instruction and support.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with staff to address student needs.
Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification/license.
Experience with at-risk youth or in detention settings preferred, but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
