Working in the Learning Center, the successful candidate will assiststudents in developing comprehension in the subject coursework and improvestudy skills and habits. Tutoring is provided either through one-on-onetutoring sessions, group tutoring sessions, or embedded in classes. Tutors aretrained and certified through the College Reading and Learning Association(CRLA) International Tutor… Training Program Certification (ITTPC). All tutorsare required to attain Level I certification within one year of being hired.
Subjects neededinclude: Writing, mathematics(through calculus), and chemistry. Multiple Subjects preferred.
The work schedule for thisposition may include working evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is based oncertification level
