Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to provide personalized educational support to students in various subjects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to adapt their instructional methods to meet the unique needs of each student. This role requires a strong understanding of academic concepts and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
Duties
• Develop customized lesson plans that align with students’ learning objectives and curriculum requirements.
• Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Provide instruction in subjects such as Biochemistry, Differential Equations, Algebra, and Chemical Engineering.
• Assess students’ progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to ensure comprehension and mastery of material.
• Offer support for homework assignments, projects, and exam preparation.
• Create a supportive environment that encourages students to ask questions and express their thoughts.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Experience
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children or young adults.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and educational best practices is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting approaches to meet individual learning styles.
• Strong background in subjects such as Biochemistry, Differential Equations, Algebra, or Chemical Engineering is highly desirable.
• Skills in utilizing learning technology effectively within tutoring sessions are a plus.
• Previous experience in childcare or working with students in an educational setting will be beneficial.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
