Position Details:
• Fully Remote Position teaching core subjects tostudents between K-12 grade levels
• Fulltime Position – Monday though Friday ~ 37.5 hours
• Start Date: Immediate
• End Date: remainder of 2024/2025 schoolyear
• License Required: West Virginia Teaching Certification
• High Possibility of renewal for 2025/2026 schoolyear
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred). State Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification).
• Proven experience teaching general education in a K-12 setting (virtual teaching experience preferred).
• Strong familiarity with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and foster a positive virtual classroom environment.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
• Tech-savvy and proficient in using educational software and tools.
• Passion for helping students succeed and grow academically
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in an online teaching environment.
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction.
• Certification in additional subjects (e.g., Math, Science, Social Studies, English).
• Familiarity with Common Core or other state-specific curriculum frameworks.
