Job Details
We are looking for a Special Education Teacher to take on a full time virtual role with one of our school districts in Virginia. We are looking for a candidate who specializes in early childhood intervention. The students on the caseload are between ages 2-5, with mild to moderate disabilities. Compensation does vary on districts budget, and candidates experience.
Qualifications
Requires a Masters degree in Special Education or relative experience. We prefer candidates who have at least 5 years of experience working within the school systems, and at least 3 years working with an early intervention caseload. All candidates must be credentialed through the Virginia Department of Education, with an endorsement in Early Intervention. If you are an out of state applicant, please be aware that you must be licensed and credentialed in both the state you reside in, and the state you work for.

We look for candidates who above all have a deep passion for education. To be successful in this role teachers must be detailed, organized, and have impeccable communication skills. As this role is virtual, candidates must be self driven, and highly independent. We are looking for someone who feels as if they are a master in their craft.
VocoVision Requirements
We require that all contractors obtain professional liability insurance before starting their assignment. Additionally, all applicants need to be comfortable understanding that this role is strictly 1099, for independent contractors. Before an interview we require that all candidates complete and pass a tech screening testing out Wi-Fi and download speeds, along with general zoom capabilities.
