Position: Special Education Teacher
Job Description
Compensation: $30-$35 per hour, with weekly pay
Hours: 4 hours per week
Start Date: June 3, 2024
Caseload: High School, Non-verbal
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with special needs.
Provide engaging instruction and comprehensive support to students across inclusive and resource settings.
Foster collaborative partnerships with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student development.
Utilize evidence-based strategies and accommodations to facilitate student progress and achievement.
Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a sense of belonging and encourages student growth.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education
Active Special Education State Teaching License
Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
