VocoVision is looking for a Special Education Teacher (K-12) to work remotely for a Virginia school district during the 2024/2025 school year. This position involves planning, organizing, and delivering instructional programs that help students reach their full academic potential.
Responsibilities…
• Create and implement individualized educational plans and instructional programs.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide recommendations for curriculum adjustments and necessary accommodations.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the educational team to support student needs.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required.
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Virginia is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting.
• Required clearances to work in public or charter schools.
• Early childhood experience is preferred.
• Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
