Adjunct Business Instructor- NOC Tonkawa or Enid

SUMMARY: Under the direction of and in collaboration with the Division Chair, the Adjunct Business Instructor is responsible for all aspects of classroom instruction. The Adjunct Business Instructor performs his/her duties in a timely manner with a spirit of cooperation with the Division Chair and fellow divisional faculty and in agreement with institutional policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL… DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:
• Clearly communicate the essential concepts in business related courses and provide an innovative, dynamic learning environment to facilitate student learning.
• Utilize appropriate assessment measures to gauge student comprehension of material and communicate progress regularly to students through assignment feedback and online grade posting.
• Participate in scholarly activities and professional development to enhance classroom instruction.
• Assist with continued accreditation of the Business Division through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
• Provide required student learning outcome assessment data to Division Chair in a timely manner.
• Perform duties in a manner that supports teamwork and professionalism among colleagues.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Subject to satisfactory Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure which includes a criminal background check.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of a master’s degree in Business is required, MBA preferred. Must have excellent communication and computer skills and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in business. Teaching experience or professional experience in business related field is preferred. Teaching areas could include but are not limited to Introduction to Business or Business Ethics courses. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. The position is can be located on either the Tonkawa or Enid Campuses.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, push, lift, haul, pull, reach, carry, grasp, squat or stoop, bend and twist the body while performing essential duties, use hands to operate controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear.
