Position Information
Applicants will teach Psychology courses. Resumes will be reviewed as needed for each semester.

A sample of the course offerings include: Introduction to Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Introduction to Personality Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology.

Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in psychology or a related discipline, such as counseling, sociology, social work, etc., from an accredited institution.
• Ability to demonstrate strong teaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Strong organizational skills,
• Ability to function autonomously, communicate effectively, and cooperate and interact pleasantly with all contacts.
• Ability to present a positive, professional image of the Education Department and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore through conduct.
• Excellent communication skills to include fluency in English.
• Familiarity with computers, proficiency in basic office programs such as Word and Excel, or the ability to learn quickly is necessary.
