Job Summary
The School of Social
Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking
an adjunct instructor to teach lower-level courses in political science
including American Government or other classes depending on program
needs. Being able to teach both face to face
and online is a plus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Teach
political science classes as needed.
• Prepare
and submit syllabi, grades, and other required course documentation in a
timely manner.
• Follow
all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices
and job performance.
• Assist
students with course material as necessary, potentially outside of class
time.
• Be
responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration.
• Performs
other duties as assigned
