Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University”s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Qualifications:
• Preferred: Doctorate in Early Childhood Ed., Curr. and Inst., Inst. Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Ed. Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum: Master’s degree in Early Childhood Ed. or one of these fields AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise.
• All instructors must have a valid state teacher certification or endorsement in Early Childhood Education AND five years of experience in a birth-K3 setting, including teaching, curriculum development, or leadership roles.
