Hiring for an Experienced AP Bio/Chem Tutor
AP Bio/Chem Tutor…
An ideal candidate would be a biology or chemistry major with a strong understanding of math. The tutor will be hired as an individual contractor with 1-5 hours of work each week with the potential for more. Currently, the job is fully remote but may require driving depending on the circumstances.
Requirements:
• Completed Bachelors Degree in STEM field
• Ability to teach up to AP Biology and Chemistry
• Experience tutoring high school students
• Responsible, punctual, and impeccable communication skills
Preferred:
• More than 2 years of experience teaching high school students
• Experience working at a prestigious tutoring institution
• Ability to teach up to AP Calc BC or Stats
• Deep knowledge of the structure of SAT/ACT problems
• Living in Portland OR and has reliable transportation to drive to the student’s preferred location
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
