Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Primary School Mandarin Language Teacher at La Scuola d’Italia in Manhattan, NY. The Language Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mandarin, creating lesson plans, delivering quality education, incorporating literature into language teaching, and providing a culturally immersive learning experience for students.
Qualifications
• Language Teaching and Education skills
• Lesson Planning expertise
• Teaching experience
• Proficiency in Spanish and Mandarin languages
• Familiarity with literature for language learning
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Mandarin, or related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience teaching in an international or multicultural setting is a plus
