What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Provide clinical services on an inpatient psychiatric unit for adult patients involved in the forensic system
– Opportunity for faculty appointment and development of a research program
– Collaborate with the Department of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine
– Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
– Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Ph.D. in psychology required
– Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Arkansas
– Strong clinical skills and experience in working with adult psychiatric patients
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience in conducting research studies in a clinical setting
– Familiarity with evidence-based practices in psychology
– Previous experience in an academic or research setting
