What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Teach Introduction to Lawyering classes, developing major writing assignments and providing feedback
– Conduct individual and joint conferences with students to discuss assignments and skills exercises
– Attend faculty meetings to prepare for classes and activities
– Collaborate with Lawyering faculty to create and revise class exercises
– Teach sessions at the Introduction to Lawyering Day during law school orientation
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Juris Doctor Degree
– 3-5 years of practice experience
– Excellent academic records
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Stellar legal writing, interpersonal, and practice skills
– Teaching experience
– Experience in higher education
