What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays
– Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom
– Conduct instructional exercises with individual scholars or small groups
– Supervise scholars throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom
– Participate in staff development training programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
– High school diploma or GED
– Valid Texas educational aide certificate
– Ability to work well with children
– Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Ability to use personal computer and software for various tasks
