Special Education Teacher
Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district in Westfield, New Jersey that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts located in Union County. The Commission is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher at Crossroads School, an elementary and middle school program for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities. . This dedicated teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing instructional programs for students with disabilities.

• Hours: 8:20 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or Related Field from Accredited College or University
• New Jersey Department of Education Certificates – Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND Elementary Education
• Prior teaching experience with students with Cognitive Impairments, Multiple Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Highly effective Interpersonal and Oral/Written Communication Skills.
