This position is part-time and contract-based.
The ideal candidate:
– At least 1 year of experience teaching children.
– Experience teaching English / English as a Second Language.
– Have a flexible schedule and be available to teach in the late afternoons or evenings (after-school hours).
– Willingness to travel to Greer, Five Forks, and Simpsonville (around Greenville, SC) for tutoring assignments.
– Comfortable with using Zoom to conduct lessons remotely (if choosing to take on remote tutoring opportunities).
– be professional, responsible, and engaging as a teacher.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions to help students improve their English and possibly other school subjects.
– Develop customized lesson plans based on students’ needs and learning styles.
– Utilize learning technology to enhance tutoring sessions if tutoring online.
– Provide feedback to parents on student progress.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
