Are you an Art Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are actively seeking several General Education Art Teachers for middle school and high school positions. As an Art Teacher, you will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression, creativity, and skill development. Your role will involve designing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom… activities, and fostering a love for art in all students.
Responsibilities:
• Design and Implement Curriculum: Develop and deliver art lessons that align with grade-level standards and promote creativity, artistic skills, and critical thinking.
• Teach Art Techniques: Instruct students in various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
• Foster Creativity: Encourage and support students in exploring their artistic interests and expressing themselves through their artwork.
• Manage Classroom: Create and maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and artistic exploration.
• Assess and Evaluate: Monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual and group needs.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the broader curriculum and school activities.
• Organize Exhibits: Plan and coordinate art exhibits and displays to showcase students’ work and celebrate their achievements.
• Engage with Families: Communicate with parents and guardians about students’ progress and involvement in art education.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Art, or related field
• Active State Teaching License with Art Endorsement or Certification
