We are looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful teacher to join our team and teach fun online drawing lessons to elementary students. You will guide students from basic to advanced drawing skills, helping them grow… as artists.
Successful candidates for the role of Elementary Drawing Teacher should have a good understanding of teaching methods for young learners. Our ideal candidate will create an energetic and caring learning environment and pay attention to the needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
• Host and manage online classes using Zoom, showing proficiency in different Zoom features.
• Teach students drawing skills from basic techniques to advanced concepts, using fun and creative activities.
• Design and present lessons that help students understand key drawing techniques and art principles.
• Prepare and share learning materials, explaining complex concepts in simple and clear terms.
• Give individual attention to students to improve their skills and encourage their creativity.
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Experience/Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience teaching children.
• Skills in teaching a range of drawing techniques from basic to advanced.
• Ability to plan and give lessons that inspire and engage young learners.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.
Requirements:
• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Own a laptop or desktop computer (Mac or Windows) that is less than 5 years old and has the necessary hardware and software.
• Have high-speed internet.
• Able to install and use Zoom.
• Have a well-lit and quiet space for teaching classes.
• Flexible working hours and stick to agreed-upon class schedules.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

• Do you agree to the pay of $16 per hour of class time? Classes range from 25-60 minutes and the pay will be as follows: $8/30 minute class, $12/45 minute class, and $16/hour long class.
