We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English Tutor to help learners improve their speaking skills, with a primary focus on American pronunciation and conversational styles. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of American English, excellent teaching abilities, and a passion for guiding students toward fluency.
Responsibilities…
Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions centered on enhancing speaking skills.
Develop and deliver customized lesson plans targeting American pronunciation, including:
A-Z alphabet pronunciation
Consonant sounds
Specific sounds such as P, T, and K
Vowel sounds
Intonation and stress patterns
Connected speech and rhythm
Provide constructive feedback and actionable guidance to help students reach their language goals.
Employ diverse teaching methods and resources to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
Native or near-native proficiency in American English.
Proven experience in teaching English as a second language (ESL), with a specific focus on speaking and pronunciation.
Deep understanding of American cultural nuances and conversational styles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and a supportive approach to teaching learners of all levels.
Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
Experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds.
