Grove City College’s Department of Graduate and Online Education invites applications for part-time faculty openings in a variety of specializations.
Part-time faculty responsibilities include teaching courses in adherence to the course objectives, syllabus, and content that has been developed by the respective department;
providing timely and constructive feedback to students, motivating and assisting students in completion of course learning objectives, maintaining academic credentials and expertise in the discipline to be taught, and adhering to GCC instructional standards.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in teaching highly motivated students online in a Christian liberal arts environment.
Temporary positions are subject to Grove City College policies, verification of credentials, and other information required by law, including the successful completion of a background check.
All positions are subject to budget approval.
Position Requirements :
• Masters with experience (Ph.D. or DBA preferred OR Terminal degree preferred). Demonstrable expertise (e.g., work experience, research, publication) in the discipline to be taught
• Documented successful online teaching experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Competency in online delivery systems, with preference given to prior experience with Brightspace D2L
• Competency in MS Office technologies such as TEAMS, Stream, and FORMS
• Access to high quality technology requisite with online teaching
