Position Details:
• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Employment Type: Full-time
• School Year: 2024-2025
• Grade Levels: Elementary, Middle, or High School (varied opportunities based on experience and preference)
• Classroom Setting: Resource room, self-contained classroom, or inclusion setting
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to address diverse learning styles and needs
• Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust instructional methods to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents, caregivers, and school staff
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success

Qualifications:
• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Arizona (or ability to obtain)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs
