Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to join school districts in Bellevue, NE. We are actively interviewing candidates who meet the qualifications and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities…
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff to support students’ learning and behavioral needs.
• Monitor and report on students’ progress, making adjustments to IEPs as necessary.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and staff meetings.
• Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
• Must hold a valid Nebraska Special Education Teaching License.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local and state special education laws and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and administrators.
