Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Position Overview:
• Employment Type: Full-time for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
• Pay Rate: $40-$45 per hour, with weekly payments
• Scope of Work: Includes both direct and indirect services
• Contract Status: Independent contractor
• Insurance: Professional liability insurance required upon offer
• Further Information: Detailed discussions regarding the role will be conducted during a Zoom interview with the district’s director or coordinator. Schedule and caseload specifics will also be addressed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
• Design and implement individualized intervention programs tailored to each student’s needs in communication, language development, articulation, and social interaction via virtual platforms.
• Collaborate remotely with teachers and other educational staff to apply effective interventions.
Experience:
• At least two years of experience working in a school setting.
Required Certifications:
• Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current state clearances, including fingerprinting, TB testing (if applicable), and background check
