Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + [8.5% – 16% local supplement]

Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students’ skills and competence in one or more fields of science, including general science, earth science, biology, physiology, chemistry, and physics; develops students’ skills and abilities in scientific methods and problem-solving, as well as an understanding of the application of science in the solution of practical problems. This teaching assignment would primarily teach Earth Science and Anatomy.

Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor’s Degree (click here for more info about Master’s pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
• Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
