Position Overview…
As an On-Site Teacher, you’ll inspire and educate young individuals within our Florida Scholars Academy in partnership with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Deliver engaging lessons, offer one-on-one support, and create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop lesson plans meeting educational goals.
• Provide individualized instruction and support.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to address student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license.
• Experience with at-risk youth or in detention settings preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
