As a virtual math teacher, you’ll play a vital role in inspiring students, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering academic success in 8th grade mathematics.
Key Responsibilities…
Create and deliver dynamic virtual math lessons that align with 8th-grade curriculum standards.
Use online teaching platforms to engage students and promote interactive learning.
Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams, and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain open communication with students and their families to support their educational journey.
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (Master’s degree preferred).
Illinois math teaching certification.
At least 2 years of experience teaching 8th grade math.
Experience with virtual teaching is a plus.
