The Opportunity
We’re excited to offer contract teaching assignments for passionate French Language Instructors in the Washington, DC area for the 2024-2025 academic year. While the primary focus is on in-person teaching, there may be opportunities for remote assignments as they arise. This is a fantastic chance to bring your creativity to the classroom and inspire learners both in-person and online.
Teaching Opportunities
World Language – French
Your Role
For in-person assignments, work with us to design and maintain a practical class schedule for the academic year.
For remote assignments, be available to teach online to individual students or small groups.
Get to know our language-learning modules and enhance them with personalized resources tailored to your students’ needs and interests.
Document lessons, assignments, and student progress.
Provide updates and progress reports to our team.
Create exceptional learning experiences and support student engagement and motivation.
Communicate clearly, professionally, and in a service-oriented manner.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
Ability to maintain a practical in-person schedule for the academic year.
Expertise in French language instruction.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
Previous online teaching experience.
Experience in developing, building, or editing curriculum is a plus.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Reliable computer, webcam, microphone, and high-speed internet connection.
Comfort with technology and a willingness to explore new tools.
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
Compassionate and respectful leadership qualities.
Strong time management and critical-thinking skills.
Willingness to undergo a Criminal Background Screening.
