The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSEN), College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track faculty position of Visiting Assistant Professor. This position would be serving a 4.5 month appointment, anticipated to begin fall 2024.
We seek an individual who has demonstrated excellence in engineering education with a strong… background in Materials Science and Engineering. The successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate level-courses.
MSEN is an integral part of the TAMU College of Engineering with excellent interaction with faculty in other engineering programs to support large-scale college initiatives, as well as access to graduate students to assist in research activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. For appointments as Visiting Assistant Professor, applicants must have a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus in Materials Science.
