The Adjunct Instructor for Art will report to the Department Chair for Commercial Music, Visual and Performing Arts.
Will be required to teach a variety of ARTS courses. These courses are taught in the day, evening, and/or online and may include Dual Enrollment, Early College High School, or correctional facilities. A Masters degree is required with 18 graduate hours in the teaching area.
Ability to deal with students, faculty, and staff members in professional manner. Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments.
Teaching experience at a 2-year college or university. Varies, May include day, evening, and/or online instruction.
Provide quality and innovative instruction while working independently in the classroom.
Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the subject area of teaching responsibility.
Commitment to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-based ACGM outcomes, and Core Curriculum outcomes.
