General Requirments:
Bachelors in field/related field
1 year of teaching experience in the subject and grade
Religion – Muslim
Stable Internet
Teaching Hours:
Monday – Thursdays
Middle School (grades 6-8)- 3 teaching hours per day
Elementary (grades 2-5) – 4 teaching hours per day
Required Office Hours: – you are required to be available for the duration of the scheduled times below
Check-in:10 minutes before your first class
15 minutes after your last class to respond to emails
Friday – 8-11 a.m. CST – Required office hours (for lesson planning and school meetings)
NB: Despite the teaching hours, this position is similar to a full-time role
Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruct classes
Copy & Edit Your own PPTs for instruction (in some rare cases courses are new and need to be re-created. You would have been notified of this before receiving this document if this is the case in your classes.)
Keep Attendance
Scan Lessons & assessments for inappropriate content as you prepare PPTs and inform parents/students to be aware of any content that needs to be avoided (although you will not include this content in your lessons, students still have access, hence the reason to notify parents/students).
Prepare Study Guides & Exams
Grading
Record and Analyze learning data and adjust lessons/differentiation
Keep Student Files updated
Correspond with staff, parents, and students via email
Attend scheduled parent and staff meetings
Attend and participate in 2 professional development initiatives each year
Complete one self-study personal professional development event in the summer and submit evidence of completion to the school.
Participate in the school improvement plan initiatives
Attend school meetings and the end-of-the-year ceremony
Job Type: Part-time
