About the role
We are looking for a driven and customer centric Renewals Manager to join our… Renewals team and help us analyse, negotiate, renew, and expand active contracts to ensure our schools get the best value. The remit and focus of the role is to own the renewal conversations for all schools using Arbor. Its a broad and exciting role, so were looking for someone up for a challenge – if youre target driven and a good team player, this is the role for you.
Core responsibilities
Work as part of a team to own the renewal conversations for all schools using Arbor
Prioritise the management of all customer renewals on a matrix of risk, revenue and complexity
Identify potential renewal risks and proactively address them to ensure customer satisfaction and continued success (alongside the Customer Success team)
Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers based on their needs at renewal
Manage the renewal cycle, including contract negotiation, pricing, and proposal development for all contracts under £10,000 ARR or under a certain level of complexity
Keep ARR churn below 2%
Termly calls with selection of schools to review customer health and happiness
Maintenance of customer health data in the CRM (Gainsight and Salesforce)
Serve as a lead point of contact for all customer account management matters post-implementation
Track renewal metrics and report on progress towards achieving renewal targets.
Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to anticipate client needs.
About you
Proven Experience as an account management or customer support (AM preferred)
Ability to work well within a close team
Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) preferred
Track record of achieving sales targets
Experience managing customer renewals
Ability to work across teams and engage multiple stakeholders
Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and interpersonal skills
Understanding of SaaS enterprise software implementation and adoption
Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
Experience in education / edtech market would be a bonus
Ability to perform in a fast moving, dynamic start up environment
