Duties:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
– Teach various topics in mathematics, such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus
– Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
– Provide individualized instruction and support to students with different learning needs
– Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects
– Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
– Use technology and other instructional resources to enhance the learning experience
– Incorporate real-world examples and applications of mathematics concepts into lessons
– Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop instructional materials and share best practices
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Teaching certification or license in Mathematics
– Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and principles across various grade levels
– Experience in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to effectively explain complex mathematical concepts to students of different abilities
– Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
– Familiarity with educational technology tools for teaching mathematics
– Previous experience in tutoring or mentoring students is a plus
