Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals
– Teach Spanish language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
– Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural appreciation
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
– Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences
– Provide tutoring or additional support to students as needed
– Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
– Stay updated on current educational trends and best practices in language instruction
Skills:
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
– Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction
– Familiarity with library services and resources for language learning
– Proficiency in using learning technology, such as online platforms or educational apps
– Effective behavior management strategies for maintaining a productive classroom environment
– Understanding of literacy education principles and techniques
– Passion for educating students and fostering their love for the Spanish language and culture
– Experience working with special education students is a plus

Pay: $20.92 – $22.19 per hour
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
