Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in Kannapolis, NC. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about working with special needs students and committed to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities…
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Adapt and modify general education curriculum to ensure all students’ success.
• Utilize various teaching strategies and instructional technologies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive educational experience.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
• Manage classroom behavior to maintain a productive learning environment.
Requirements:
• Candidates must hold a valid North Carolina teaching license with an Adapted Curriculum certification.
• Previous experience in an adapted curriculum classroom setting is required.
• We are looking for educators with a genuine passion for working with special needs students.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid North Carolina teaching license with Special Education certification.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Clear background check and valid teaching credentials.
