The School of Professional and Continuing Studies is seeking qualified, engaging professionals to teach courses part-time through online instruction in our undergraduate business and criminal justice degree programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching opportunities are available in one or more of the following content areas:
– Hospitality Management
– Human Resource Management
– Healthcare Management
– Economics
– Computer Science
– Cybersecurity
– Business Analytics
– Digital Marketing and Social Media
– General Business
– General Criminal Justice courses, including:
o Criminology
o Research
o Criminal Law
o Corrections
Qualification Standards
– For Criminology and Research courses, Ph.D. preferred
– Blackboard LMS
– Familiarity with Quality Matters Rubric and Standards
– Familiarity with accessibility guidelines for distance education
– Must be extremely detail oriented, creative, and organized
– Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Current knowledge of the relevant discipline
– Demonstrated excellence in teaching adult learners preferred
– Good organizational skills and timeliness in responding to student inquiries
Education
Master’s degree in a related field required
Experience
2+ years of recent online teaching experience required, preferably with Blackboard LMS
