About Us:
Beyond Technology Education is seeking an enthusiastic K-8 Computer Teacher for a private school in Costa Mesa. In this 4-day-a-week position, you’ll be responsible for teaching Digital and Media Literacy to students across a range of grades. We provide thorough training, but candidates must have prior classroom experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Teach Digital and Media Literacy to K-8 students using pre-developed curriculum and lesson plans.
Foster an engaging and organized learning environment.
Manage classrooms with students of varying ages, adapting teaching methods for different grade levels.
Collaborate with other educators and align with our pedagogical approach.
Keep classroom organized, including maintaining and updating bulletin boards throughout the year.
Required Qualifications:
Classroom experience required, with a degree in education preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students effectively.
A desire to continually learn and grow professionally.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Willingness to complete Live Scan and Virtus training (required by Catholic Schools).
Fingerprinting required by the Archdiocese.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (credential is a plus).
