Part-Time Spanish Teacher
ClassOver has recently expanded into a new model called our ClassOver Academy! This new model will have students meeting with one of our in-person instructors and then meeting with our online teachers for instruction! This will allow students to have multiple instruction methods to enhance their learning. The students will first meet with an in-person teacher and… teacher assistant for the initial lesson instruction, then meet with their online teacher, and finally, be able to go to do independent work under the supervision of one of our teacher assistants.
What will you be doing?
• Conduct engaging and interactive Spanish language lessons
• Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Evaluate student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic growth.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure alignment and collaboration.
What do we need from you?
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of tutoring and teaching experience, preferably with elementary to high school students.
• Candidate must be proficient in both Spanish and English for this position.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Dedication to professional development and staying abreast of best practices in education.
• Commitment to upholding high academic standards and fostering a culture of excellence.
What does the schedule look like?
• Part-time position with flexible hours.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate student schedules.
