We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Tutors for in-person (and some remote) sessions for K-12… students. The available tutoring roles include:
Reading/English Tutor
Math Tutor
Early Elementary Reading Tutor
Beginning Reading Tutor
Test Prep (ACT/SAT) Tutor
Writing Tutor
Study Skills Tutor
Don’t worry if you’re not proficient in all areas—let us know your areas of interest, and we’ll schedule accordingly.

Requirements
For Reading/English Tutors: An Education/Teaching Degree or current students who have completed classroom observation or student teaching.
For Math Tutors: Strong proficiency up to Algebra 2 (Education Degree not required).
For Test Prep Tutors: Strong ACT/SAT score (30/1400 preferred); Education Degree not required.
Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
Skills: Ability to build connections with students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
Location: Availability to work from our locations in Lake Zurich/Barrington or Schaumburg.

We offer tutoring seven days a week and require tutors to work at least one weekend day and one weekday. There are additional teaching opportunities during the summer with extended morning hours.
