Key Responsibilities:
Provide Specialized Instruction: Develop and tailor lessons across subjects to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, employing innovative methods to support both academic and social development.
Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with clear goals and strategies to address each students unique learning needs, with a particular focus on the Transition section.
Support Behavioral and Emotional Growth: Implement strategies to manage behaviors, foster a positive learning environment, and help students build social skills and emotional resilience.
Collaborate with the Education Team: Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student education, actively participating in meetings and maintaining ongoing communication.
Job Qualifications:
Masters degree in Special Education
Active Colorado Special Education license and teaching certificate
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting
Experience with teaching virtually is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable computer and high-speed internet (Chromebooks and tablets are not permitted)
Pay & Benefits:
1099 Contract Position

Hourly rate: $30-40/hour (based on district budget and candidate experience)

Interview Process:
Initial Screening: A 10-15 minute call with a VocoVision Recruiter
Virtual Interview: A 20-30 minute interview with the school district
