Key Responsibilities
Design and implement engaging curriculum for coding subjects such as Scratch, Python, Skylark, and Vidcode.
Conduct live and recorded classes that captivate students in real-time and through on-demand content.
Provide tailored academic support while building meaningful relationships to motivate students.
Maintain comprehensive records of sessions to track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Required Skills
Proficiency in coding languages including Python, JavaScript, HTML, Scratch, Skylark, or Vidcode.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Experience in developing curriculum and lesson plans that drive student engagement.
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required, with preference for candidates from prestigious U.S. universities.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching or engaging with elementary and middle school students.
Experience teaching computer science or data science in formal or informal settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with remote teaching platforms will be considered an advantage.
