Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Remote MCAT Tutor at Nucleus Tutoring in East Lansing, MI. In this role, will be responsible for providing virtual tutoring sessions to students preparing for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). The role involves creating tailored lesson plans, conducting practice tests, offering feedback, and tracking student progress to ensure success. Nucleus Tutoring has partnered with UWorld and the AAMC to provide trackable question banks and official practice tests to help with your tutoring.
Qualifications
• Expertise in MCAT subjects, test-taking strategies, and content delivery
• Experience in tutoring or teaching pre-medical students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms and tools
• Organizational skills and ability to track student progress
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Medicine)
• Certifications in MCAT preparation are a plus
• Have scored a composite 515+ on the MCAT
