Location: Charleston, SC (remote position, no residency required)
Employment Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor (35-40 hours/week)
We are working with a school district in South Carolina who has multiple remote Special Education needs. These positions within the district are diverse, however each position will include the following general Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Perform online evaluations and monitor student growth
• Liaise with general education teachers, parents, and specialized professionals
• Deliver tailored instruction through virtual learning platforms
• Maintain detailed educational records
• Attend online team meetings and pursue professional growth opportunities
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• Active state licensure in Special Education (required)
• Mastery of online teaching tools and platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Talent for creating engaging virtual learning experiences
• Adaptability and creative problem-solving aptitude
